Went to eat at a restaurant with some friends tonight… Noche, a wonderful tapas restaurant in the Virginia Highlands area. Love the atmosphere of the community, but trying to find parking is a nightmare! Finally found a tight little spot about three blocks from the restaurant and had to walk in the rain (love the rain, needed an umbrella).
Noche was very crowded and VERY loud inside, but fortunately, we had reservations and were seat immediately out on the terrace. Thankful again for the rain, because it cooled things off a bit. It was still hot and humid to be outside, but as the evening went on, it was nice.
Had wonderful hummus and grilled pita bread with marinated tomatoes (don’t know what they were marinated in, but it was good), as well as grilled chicken and vegetables with a cilantro pesto sauce that was delicious and oh-so-tender.
I took a few photos while there, but I liked this one the best. Just a simple table set for the next guests.
