Make Like a Tree and Leave

Wow! I believe this is the height of the fall leaf color in this part of Georgia. I was sitting in the parking lot during my lunch break today, and just couldn’t get over how all of the trees around me were so brilliant and vibrant in their autumn splendor… the maples, oaks, Bradford pears, and even the crepe myrtles all had something wonderfully beautiful to contribute.

This maple was just too much to pass up. It’s almost totally covered in blazing red leaves, but the few remaining toward the bottom were yellow and green. While I didn’t get the bulk of the red leaves in this picture, I do like the angle.

Sigh. I love autumn.
