Someone’s Off Their Rocker

I took a photo of this chair sitting on an old house’s porch when I was in Gordo for Easter. I’d taken a photo of the same chair a couple of years before, but I don’t think I ever published it.

I was walking with Sandee’s sister, and about the time I was adjusting the framing of this photo, she said, “Be careful of snakes.” I became more aware of the tall grass around me than I was being aware of composition, so this could have been a much better photo had I not suddenly been overtaken by a case of the willies.

I do, however, like the fact that the teal color is still vibrant after the obvious exposure to the elements for many years. Nice.
