One Good Tern Deserves Another

One shot from our visit to Cumberland Island. Obviously, this is a bunch of royal terns on a little sandbar. The sun was so high, the blues in the sky and water were totally washed out, but I had to make do with the light I had.

It’s totally worth checking out the details in this shot. You’ll see one of the famous “wild horses” of the island standing on the beach on the right-hand side. (You may have to scroll to the right if your screen is small.) I didn’t see him when I took the picture, or I would have strolled down to get a closer shot.

Lots more island photos coming in the next few days.
