At the Botanical Gardens this weekend, we visited the area called The Children’s Garden. I didn’t even know they had this area, since it’s kind of tucked off into a corner of the larger gardens. I think we all enjoyed it as much (or more) as we enjoyed the “adult” areas. :)
This is one of the ornamental gates found in the children’s section. I decided to shoot it from very low, from the height of how I imagine a small child would see it. While it’s impressive enough as is, I think it’s even more impressive from that “looking up” angle.
It’s easy to forget what the world looks like to children, animals, and people in wheel chairs. Sometimes, it’s nice to get a new perspective.
